In order to acquire a Connecticut home inspection license, you must complete the following requirements:
- Obtain a High School Diploma or GED
- Pass the National Home Inspectors Exam
- Complete 40 hours of approved home inspection education courses
- Complete 100 home inspections, the first 10 which must be directly supervised
- Pay application fee of $290
- Obtain the following insurance requirements: E/O insurance equal to or greater than $50,000 and liability insurance equal to or greater than $250,000
- Complete and turn in your notarized application
